This light is powered by a single AAA battery featuring three outputs that are controlled by a rotary switch. Other great features of the Fenix E01V2.0 are the IP68 waterproof rating and the no standby current, which allows you to leave the AAA battery inside the flashlight without the battery power being consumed.
